A proud fourth-generation Tampa native, Tom graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in
sports management. Upon graduation, he worked as Event Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Rays and later became
the Director of Event management and Facilities for the University of South Florida. He also co-owned and served
as General Manager of an upscale restaurant in Atlanta. Most recently, Tom was a Leasing Consultant for Post
Properties at Rocky Point, a 915-unit apartment complex.
